Traditional Country Female Vocalist and Artist of the Year
at his event held at the Celebrity Theatre, Dollywood Theme Park

Lorraine was named the 
Pure Country Female Vocalist of the Year 
at this awards show hosted by
The Academy of Western Artists (AWA)
held at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Academy of Western Artists mission is to promote and preserve the western past and contemporary 

western future, and to recognize and promote those western artists who do excellent work. 

Awards in the musical categories, which include Pure Country, Western Music, and Western Swing, 

are decided by disc jockeys, worldwide.

Award Winner:
Lorraine received the award for 
Traditional Country Female Artist of the Year
The awards show was held at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
Lorraine was nominated in the Traditional Country category for:
Female Artist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Female Entertainer of the Year
Album of the Year (for her album FREE TO LOVE ), and
Song of the Year (for her original song "This Bed That I Have Made") .
The Josie Music Awards are held to recognize the hard work and talent of 
independent artists, worldwide,
with the awards decided by industry professionals.

for her rendition of "Texas Honky Tonk"
(one of 105 songs nominated)
Lorraine was nominated for
Pure Country â€‹Female Artist,  Pure Country Song of the Year (for 3 songs), and
Pure Country Album of The Year  (for her album FREE TO LOVE )
Lorraine was a top five finalist for:

Pure Country Female Artist  and Pure Country Song of the Year

 The 2017 Ameripolitan Music Awards

Lorraine was nominated in the Honky Tonk category, and a top five finalist, for
Honky Tonk Female of the Year
​The awards show took place at
The Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas.

Ameripolitan is a term recently created to describe a genre of music in which contemporary artists uphold traditional roots-influenced country music, in the following subcategories:

Honky Tonk, Rockabilly, Outlaw and Western Swing.

The Ameripolitan Music Awards acknowledges those Ameripolitan artists whose music honors tradition while demonstrating exceptional originality, creativity, and musicianship.
